Role 1: Sales Manager – Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs)

Location: M62 corridor (Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Leeds, up to border)

Salary c£30k-£38½k (pro rata) + benefits

Contract: Permanent, Full Time or Part Time

Role 2: Sales Manager – Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs)

Location: London and Home Counties (East Anglia, Kent, Surrey and Sussex)

Salary: c£30k-£38½k (pro rata) + benefits

Contract: Permanent, Full time or Part time

About the Roles:

As a Sales Manager, you will use your expertise to secure contracts with Clinical Commissioning Groups, private businesses and public organisations; to achieve revenue targets.

The aim of self management uk is to revolutionise the lives of people living with long-term health conditions through the provision of self-management educational programmes, allowing them to be more empowered, self-reliant and in turn, use less NHS resources to save commissioners budgets.

This is a crucial selling role which requires the ability to engage with decision makers and influencers within CCGs and influencing organisations such as Public Health, Healthwatch, Local Authorities and NHS Trusts to win contracts for our development programmes.

You will bring a track record of sales success to the role with demonstrable outcomes gained through leveraging your knowledge of the new NHS Commissioning environment. You will have experience of developing partnerships with key customers / organisations and ideally, delivering value propositions to NHS decision makers. Expertise in Key Account Management, targeting, forecasting and delivering of a territory sales plan is essential.

You will be a strong cross-functional team-worker and skilled in accessing relevant market intelligence to formulate operational plans. You may also have experience influencing the development of new or existing patient pathways and working within the NHS Contracting and Procurement framework to create competitive advantage.

Graduate calibre, or equivalent, you will be articulate, persuasive, organised and self-motivated, you’ll have strong influencing and negotiation skills and the ability/desire to work autonomously as well as in partnership with colleagues.

Candidates are expected to have their own car and full driving licence, in return we offer a generous mileage allowance.

Given the territory, the ideal applicant would be located in Northern England for Role 1 or either East or North London for Role 2 and in both cases be available immediately.
